Terms & Conditions

  • A deposit of £75 [£100 for 2 or more vehicles] is payable to secure the date. This is non-refundable. The balance is due 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Please note that during our busy season we can have several enquiries for the same date. So, to avoid disappointment please pay your deposit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as we are unable to hold a date for long periods of time.

  • A confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the deposit stating date for balance payment. This confirmation will give details as given by you. We cannot be liable for any changes unless this is done in writing.

  • A cancellation is only acceptable in writing.  Once the balance is paid we would only refund the balance if we are able to secure another booking for that date [except for extenuating circumstances]

  • In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete the booking for reasons beyond our control, an alternative vehicle[s] may be supplied.

  • We endeavour to meet deadlines but we accept no responsibility for any delays caused by traffic delays, road works, Acts of God or delays caused by the Client ie late departure from pick-up.

  • We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by restrictive access to any location.

  • Passengers are required to wear seats belts [except in some older cars where they are not fitted]. Appropriate baby/children seats must be provided by the Client where seat belt facilities are fitted.

  • Abbey Wedding Cars is a family run business and our sold aim is to ensure your special day run as smoothly as possible and is memorable and enjoyable. However, things can go wrong especially with the older cars. To minimise this, we ensure that our cars are maintained regularly to the highest of standards possible. Should a mechanical problem or accident occur, thus preventing us from honouring our agreement, then we would strive to provide a suitable replacement vehicle of any equal standard. Having 2 identical 1967 S Type Jaguars in the fleet, this would not be a problem but if the other is already on hire then we have other cars we can call upon.  In the unlikely event we are unable to fulfil then we would return any monies paid in full.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property or luggage.

  • For the consideration of other Clients, smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.

Privacy commitment

Your privacy is important to us. Therefore, we adhere to the Data Protection Act and no details that we hold will be passed onto Third Parties.
